With the technology sector growing larger every day and the need for computer skills in almost every job, MUA is proud to offer 3 levels of computer classes for our students.

Basic, bilingual computer classes: Students learn the parts of the computer, turning the computer Off and On, learning the keyboard, controlling the mouse, typing, the basic of Microsoft Word, and the basic of Power Point. This class is for beginner students, most of the materials are in English.

Intermediate computer class: Students master Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher); email; html basics; the Internet; local and network printing; building computers; and more. This class is for those who have completed MUA’s first level of computer instruction or who have some familiarity and comfort with computers.

Advanced computer class: This class builds on what is taught in the intermediate computer class. Students learn advanced Microsoft Office (i.e. spreadsheets in Excel, PowerPoint presentations); html; and some computer maintenance and repair work.
