At MUA, students receive the necessary preparation in the five subject areas-reading, writing, science, social studies, and mathematics-to take the GED in Spanish. Having a high school diploma opens up many possibilities for employment, higher education, and personal fulfillment! We offer:

This class is the equivalent of grades 0-2, for students with little or no Spanish literacy learn how to read and write Spanish. They also learn addition and subtraction. Activities include math solving problems and practice with letter formation, some games with numbers, objects and flash card.

Pre-GED

MUA offers two levels of Pre-GED in Spanish, the equivalent of grades 3-5 and 5-8. Students study the five subject areas to transition to the upper-level GED courses.

GED Intermediate and GED Advanced:

MUA offers two levels of GED in Spanish, the equivalent of grades 7-9 and 10-12. Students study the five subject areas to take and pass the five GED exams required for the certificate. We offer supplement math tutoring as students find the mathematics exam the most difficult. After obtaining their GED, students enter employment or college.
